Monthly Statistics

The statistics page has been designed for you to see the performance of the real estate market on a monthly/yearly basis.

Here is how it works:

We receive the statistics for the previous month by the middle of the next month. For example, we will receive the data for January by the middle of the month of February. We will then post this most recent information on this web site with an explanation of how we see the data and the market. You will be able to see whether prices and inventory are going up or down. Looking at the supply of houses and the demand, the number of sales, will help you to see the relative strength of the real estate market each month.

Included in these charts will be a comparison of the amount of inventory and sales for the same month in each of the last three years. For example, the January information for each of the last three years will be compared. It is truly eye opening to see the changes in the market over the time.

Oh by the way, these statistics are strictly for the eastside market, unlike the statistical information provided in the local newspapers. The newspapers will comment on several counties and the city of Seattle.
